What Can You Expect
The Alpha Stim AID treats anxiety,depression, and/or insomnia with microcurrent using a method called cranial electrotherapy stimulation (CES). The treatment is very simple. The current is applied by easy to use earclip electrodes that attach on the ear lobes.
Used just 20-30 minutes a day, every other day, or as needed, it can help induce a pleasant, relaxed feeling of well being. Depression and insomnia control is generally experienced after one to three weeks of daily treatment. It also helps treat underlying mood disorders associated with pain.
The Alpha-Stim® M uses microcurrent electrical therapy (MET) for those suffering from acute, chronic or postoperative pain, and works with the body on a large variety of ailments, including difficult-to-treat problems. Alpha-Stim microcurrent technology produces residual and cumulative results.
Alpha-Stim MET works with tiny currents, closer to the type and amount of electricity that naturally occurs in the body.
How does the Alpha-Stim Work?
Mood conditions (like anxiety and depression), and insomnia are all controlled by your body’s central nervous system. Alpha Stim communicates with the nervous system by conducting electrochemical signs between the cells in the body and the brain.
The Alpha-Stim electrotherapy device works by transmitting a unique, patented electrical waveform to modulate the cells’ signals to return to baseline, normal functioning—significantly reducing pain, anxiety, depression, or insomnia without medication.
